Quantum computing study launched

Based on its work, the PlanQK consortium has developed a quantum computing expert study to gain further input from the broader community. The study is open to all experts in quantum software development and the results are expected to be published later this year.

in cooperation of the Institute of Computer Science of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich and the research project PlanQK, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection, the above mentioned quantum computing expert study has been developed. The aim of the study is to identify competencies, tools and processes in the development of quantum computing algorithms in order to create a fundamental understanding of this novel technology on the one hand, and to introduce both industry and education to quantum computing in the best possible way on the other hand. In doing so, the assessments of quantum computing experts are extremely valuable for the project – we therefore appreciate any support.

The online questionnaire can be found here: https://www.soscisurvey.de/quantencomputing/ (your participation is anonymous).

If you work in the field of quantum computing, we would appreciate it if you would kindly take a few minutes to participate in the survey and/or forward it to your colleagues.
