Already for the 6th time, more than 300 participants met at the Digicon on 17.11.2021 to exchange ideas together under the motto: „Quantum Applications – How a quantum advantage is created“. PlanQK was of course there as well. Several partners of our consortium shared their insights.
The discussions were characterized by the experiences made by the PlanQK consortium partners within the framework of the research partnership, which has already lasted almost 2 years. In addition to fundamental insights into quantum algorithms from the PlanQK partners University of Stuttgart and Ludwig Maximilian University, company-specific experiences on the part of Deutsche Bahn and Accenture and the future use of the platform by StoneOne AG were also discussed. In addition, several associated partners of PlanQK were represented, a strong proof of the weight of the PlanQK network in Germany and Europe.
