Heuristics of the Bell Inequality: Background to the Nobel Prize in Physics 2022

We welcome you at short notice to a PlanQK webinar on 14 October 2022 from 11:00 to 11:30, on the occasion of the award of this year’s Nobel Prize to three quantum physicists who have worked on entanglement. They will receive the prize in particular for having shown in fundamental experiments that the Bell inequality does not hold in the quantum realm. Thus, entanglement is a phenomenon that contradicts classical physics and opens up new possibilities (for example in quantum computing). These findings will be presented to us by the scientific director of the PlanQK consortium, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c.. Frank Leymann, will classify them for us. We look forward to the discussions with you.
